Holly Hedge Welcomes Kusek and Whitlock

On the 13th of April, Petal Pushers had the pleasure of preparing the wedding of Jennifer Kusek and Robert Whitlock at the beautiful Holly Hedge Estate.

After marrying at West Trenton Presbyterian Church, family and friends gathered to celebrate Jennifer and Robert’s big day.

Jennifer’s bridal bouquet complemented her gorgeous ivory wedding gown with pale pink mini calla lilies, pink bouvardia, pale lizzy, pink and white dahlias, and a single of bunch of lilac. Jennifer’s Maid of Honor clutched a beautiful bouquet with pink tulips and bear grass. Each bridesmaid also carried their own pale pink bouquet, drawing a beautiful contrast to their elegant navy blue dresses. The flower girl, at only five years old, held onto her own petite bouquet of tulips as well. For the hand-tied bouquets, irridescent blue ribbon was used along with tussy mussy.

As for the men of the bridal party, both Robert and his Best Man sported a tulip boutonniere, along with the ring bearer, ushers, and groomsmen who all had boutonnieres with either mini calla lilies or tulips. The father and grandfathers wore ivory rose boutonnieres for something a little different.

Located on Upper York Road in New Hope, Pennsylvania, the reception took place at the beautiful Holly Hedge Estate on an absolutely gorgeous Spring day.

Each separate area at the Holly Hedge Estate created a different and unique atmosphere for those who attended the reception – indoor and outdoor.

Walking through the garden-lined paths, guests were led to an adorable gazebo next to a pond, centered around an antique fountain.

Adding to the Estate’s atmosphere is a cozy bed and breakfast, complete with eighteen rooms, each one completely unique.

Intimate yet spacious enough to host such an important and beautiful affair, the reception hall was impressive in a unique and classic way: among the tables lined with navy blue linens, the timeless wooden dance floor and an antique wooden bar decorated with branches contributed to a genuinely beautiful atmosphere.

Once night fell, a truly timeless atmosphere was created as well. As guests followed the garden-lined path to the reception hall, lit by hanging lanterns of various sizes and heights, they passed a white wooden sign that read, “This way to the Celebration!”

Inside the reception hall, Jennifer and Robert enjoyed their own personalized and decorated sweetheart table with a table floral arrangement and white wooden signs reading “Bride” and “Groom” on their seats. To their right stood the delicious cake and cake table, decorated with pale pink and white calla lilies, green hydrangea, and tulips.

Bringing together the entire hall, the pink centerpieces sat atop navy blue linens. Each table consisted of either a 6″ rose bowl with an assortment of pink flowers, or had an arrangement of 3 satellite vases in groupings, including pink ranunculas, green hydrangea, spray roses, and Queen Anne’s lace.

The reception at Holly Hedge was a genuinely unique party. From the beautiful weather during the day and the contrasting colors to the simply breathtaking night fall and antique atmosphere of the Holly Hedge Estate, Jennifer and Robert are sure to remember this day for years to come.
